"Extreme

poverty anywhere is a threat to human security everywhere.”

APSARA foundation India (AFI) NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations) work to promote social or political change and play a critical role in developing society, improving communities, and promoting citizen participation.

NGOs have been playing a crucial role in independent India, bridging the gap between government schemes and beneficiaries in remote areas. Their advocacy has also contributed to path-breaking laws including the Right to Education Act and the Right to Information Act. During the COVID-19 crisis, they emerged as the first line of protection and relief for the poor.
We've found the best way to bring meals to the hungry is through public feeding stations and school lunch programs. Each meal served contains a nutritious combination of rice (carbs), lentils (protein), and vegetables (vitamins). We take into consideration religious dietary restrictions so that people of all faiths may partake in the meal.
We've found the best way to fight illiteracy  is through accessible  education oppurtunities. Children from impoverished backgrounds receive free tuition, books, and uniforms, in addition
to free daily  meal and basic  medical care.
We've found the best way to medically assist the poor of muslims is through a multi-specialty  general hospital, rural clinics ,and  our red light projects. We provide free treatment to 40% of the 100,000 patients we see each year.
